Our classes dive deep into both color theory, deciphering your color line, and hair color chemistry in a simplified, visual way. We help hairdressers move beyond basics to build a strong foundation for confident formulation. You’ll learn real-world problem-solving and critical thinking so you can create predictable results without all the guesswork.

Unlike brand-specific training, our education is product-neutral, we teach universal principles that work across ALL color lines. This ensures you gain versatile skills you can use in any salon setting, with any product line.

Beginner-Friendly Classes: Perfect for stylists of all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new to color formulation or want to sharpen your skills, these courses build your confidence and give you a strong foundation.

In-Depth Classes: Best for stylists with at least 1–2 years of experience who are ready to dive deeper into advanced formulation and critical thinking skills.

We cover everything from understanding the hair fiber and underlying pigments to advanced color theory, lift behavior, and troubleshooting common issues in formulation. You’ll learn how to:

*Use the color wheel as a tool to help control and direct your color changes.

*Predict remaining pigment when lifting on any natural level.

*Bring color to your desired end result on purpose

All classes are delivered virtually with typically 2 in person classes per year.

Beginner-friendly classes are pre-recorded, and on-demand with instant access, so you can learn at your own pace.

In-depth classes are either fully live on Zoom, or hybrid, one day, instant access, on demand and one day live on Zoom, giving you real-time interaction, feedback, and Q&A.

Our live Zoom sessions include a mix of theory, demonstrations, interactive activities, taught with visuals so you can SEE the theory come to life, and Q&A. We also focus on practical applications, so you walk away with actionable skills you can use immediately behind the chair.

*In-Depth Hybrid Classes: ~3.5 hrs of pre-recorded class material. Live class day, 3.5 hours of small group class time via Zoom.

No. When you purchase a course, you’re purchasing a limited-license to access to the content, not ownership of the curriculum. This structure helps us keep classes affordable while providing high-quality education.

Each enrollment is a limited-license created for individual access only (both live and on-demand). Our education is not licensed for redistribution or for use as a salon training program. If more than one stylist will be learning, each must have their own enrollment.

If you’d like your team to learn together, we offer private salon classes where multiple stylists can be trained directly by our team. We also have group options available for our beginner-friendly on-demand classes.

Yes! We do host private classes for salons, (typically for a group of 8+ stylists) 

Here's how we usually assess the needs...

1. Team Color Assessment
We'll send a private link created just for your salon. Each stylist completes it individually we can see where everyone currently is.

2. Results & Plan
Once the team has completed the assessment, we’ll schedule a call the salon owner or team lead to walk through the results together. This helps us clearly see where the team is already strong and what areas need more support so we can tailor the class direction with purpose.
