Welcome To The Foundations Of Color Theory Hybrid Class!

This class is designed as a two-day hybrid learning experience. 🎨 Day 1 – You'll discover what color really is, how it lives in 3D space, and where the tones from your specific color line live in it. You'll learn to swatch out your colors and chart them so you can finally see what's actually inside YOUR color tubes. 💻 Day 2 – Is LIVE on Zoom. This is where you'll learn color mixing theory, how colors combine, especially shades that have background, so you can mix with confidence and create results with clarity and purpose. No more guesswork or going by "feel" necessary. ✨ Note: Our classes are designed for single-user access. If you have more than one stylist or apprentice on your team who needs training, please reach out, we have options.

What We Cover...

🌸 Day 1 – Building Your Color Map (On-Demand ~ 3.5 hrs)

  • Learn what color really is and how it behaves in 3D space

  • Swatch your own color line to see what’s inside each tube

  • Chart your shades on the wheel to map where they live

  • Discover how background (brown or grey) shifts chroma + behavior

  • Finish Day 1 with your personal Color Map as your foundation

📘 Day 2 – Using Your Color Map (Live on Zoom ~ 3.5 hrs)

  • Learn science-based color mixing theory step by step

  • Use the Directional Color Mapping System™ to SEE how colors mix

  • Understand how to mix color that has background 

  • Practice creating multi-tone formulas on your color "map" before mixing in the bowl

  • Troubleshoot real dye-outs and leave with clarity + confidence
